Meet Our Team

STAFF
Since the programme’s inception in 2003, PAY has greatly relied on the work, wisdom and dedication of volunteers in its quest to better the lives of young people in Namibia. Over the course of 13 years, countless volunteers went through the PAY programme (according to some counts, well over 500) and assisted us in delivering our Three Pillars.

Programme & Centre Managert
I oversee and manage the operations at PAY while also communicating with the stakeholders. I am a Program Manager by profession and love working in social development.

I support strategic planning, fundraising, and ensuring our programs stay true to our mission of empowering youth.

Ebike Hub Manager
Content creation, Cycling coaching and Ebike management.
Evalistus Taspopi Simon
Mathematics tutor (8-12)
I am a mathematics tutor at PAY Namibia, teaching grade 8-12. I am passionate about making mathematics engaging and relevant while helping learners improve their skills. I have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, with keen interest in data analytics
Justina NBN Shikongo
Administrator & English Tutor
As an Administrator at PAY, I oversee the smooth running of daily operations in the morning, ensuring everything from food and supplies procurement, and kitchen support to inventory management and replenishment is handled efficiently. In the afternoon, I transition into my role as an English Tutor, working with learners ranging from grade 6 to AS Level, helping them enhance their language skills and achieve their academic goals.

At PAY I go by the name Butterfly, I consider myself as a person who loves art, teach and people. I have the role of a Robotics and digital literacy teacher.

Life Skills Coach
As a life skills coach, I guide guide the learners in developing essential skills such as communication, decision-making, and resilience. Through our sessions, we empower them how to take control of their lives and futures. We show them how to evaluate options, consider consequences, and make informed choices that align with their goals and values.
